What is a Vedic Astrology or Jyotish reading?
A Vedic Astrology reading is a one-to-one session that uses your birth chart to explore the energies, patterns and timing active in your life. Jyotish is the Sanskrit name for the Vedic system of astrology. Geoff explains what is relevant in plain language and connects it to the question you bring.
How is Vedic Astrology different from Western astrology?
Western astrology is often read through the Sun-sign system. Vedic Astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, mapping the planets against the constellations or fixed stars where they are observed in the sky. This can mean the sign placements are different. How long is the session and what is included?
A General Reading is a live 60–90 minute session on Zoom or in person in Sydney. A recording is sent afterwards, so you can revisit the detail in your own time. Where useful, Geoff may suggest a tailored practice or supportive remedy connected to what your chart shows.
Which reading should I book first?
If this is your first session with Geoff, book a General Reading. It creates the birth-chart foundation for later Current Transits or relationship-focused work. If relationships are your main question, tell Geoff when you book your General Reading.
Do I need to know astrology before my reading?
No. You do not need to know your signs, houses or placements. The session is designed to make the chart understandable and relevant to your life, rather than teach technical astrology.
Do you read charts outside Australia?
Yes. Zoom readings are available worldwide and recorded for you to revisit. Geoff works with clients across different time zones.
What information is needed to book?
Bring your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth as accurately as you can. If you are unsure of your time of birth, still book the General Reading and mention it when you schedule.
