Full Moon May 31st 2026
Hello Seekers,
The full moon on May 31st rises in Anuradha Nakshatra, in the sign of sidereal Scorpio. The moon’s place of debilitation.
Anuradha is the nakshatra of devotion. It contains three stars in the body of the scorpion, and Alpha Centauri, the closest star to our solar system. Its symbol is the lotus flower. The lotus that grows through the mud and blossoms anyway. The flower that holds its ground through trial and tribulation and still opens.
That is the energy of this moon.
When the moon sits in its place of debilitation, it is exposed. It is uncomfortable. And that is exactly why this full moon is so useful. Anything you have been quietly attached to, anything you have been clinging to out of habit or fear or old loyalty, it is going to come up. Not to overwhelm you. To be seen. To be released.
And Saturn is right there with it, revealing the spiritual challenges you are being asked to face. This is about dharma. Right action. The work of becoming who you actually are, not who you have been performing as.
Then, the very next day, June 1st, Jupiter changes signs.
Jupiter moves into Cancer, where he is exalted. At his most potent.
It’s like a gift from the universe…
Remember a few months ago I wrote that it was the time to plant the seeds…. Well now. If you were going to start something. If you have been waiting for a sign. This is the time to start watering the seeds.
Jupiter in Cancer is emotional, intuitive, soft, expansive. He asks you to trust your inner self. To stop overthinking. To go with the flow.
The full moon clears. Saturn shows you the work. Jupiter exalts the next day and waters everything.
And on the full moon, everything amplifies. The yogis have always known this. Whatever you do in your practice on a full moon lands deeper, moves further, opens wider. The body becomes more receptive. The mind becomes ready to absorb. The energy you generate has somewhere to go.
So this is not a night to doom scroll.
This is a night to sit. To meditate. To let what wants to rise, rise. And to let what wants to leave, leave.
Try this on the full moon night…
Sit somewhere quiet after the sun goes down. Phone away. No music. Place your hand on your heart.
Bring to mind one thing you have been quietly carrying. An old attachment. A relationship dynamic you keep recreating. A version of yourself you have outgrown but have not yet put down.
Just see it. Let the moon do the rest.
When you are ready, take three slow breaths and end the practice.
That is the work.
