Introducing Sattva Yoga – Himalayan Breathwork: A Journey of Transformation

 Sattva Yoga – Himalayan Breathwork

I am thrilled to share with you my deep-rooted passion for Himalayan Breathwork, a profound practice I learned during my training in India under the guidance of Anand Mehrotra. This transformative approach combines the ancient wisdom of Sattva Yoga (Himalayan Breathwork) from the Babaji Lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda with contemporary insights.

Sattva Yoga (Himalayan Breathwork) encompasses various elements such as Hatha Yoga, meditation, pranayama (yogic breathing), Kriya, mantra, freedom movement, and transcendental wisdom.

Through this integrative practice, you embark on a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and profound transformation. It is within the realm of this transformative integrative practice, a celestial path awaits—a journey that transcends mere existence and delves into the essence of who you truly are. Here, amidst the tapestry of Sattva Yoga (Himalayan Breathwork) and the profound wisdom of Vedic Meditation, lies the gateway to profound metamorphosis.

Sattva Yoga

Derived from Sanskrit, “sattva” represents lucidity, lightness, happiness, tranquillity, and non-attachment. The term “kriya” signifies action that leads us to evolution, expansion, and liberation. Himalayan Breathwork is a powerful practice designed to create an evolutionary response, awakening, and transforming our energy at a physical, psychological, and spiritual level.

During our sessions, we engage in Kriyas, which combine repetitive movements, mantras, and breathwork to facilitate a moving meditation. This process generates electricity within us, igniting a shift and facilitating healing at a cellular level. Through Himalayan Breathwork, we cultivate a strong energetic body, paving the way for personal growth, awakening, and the realization of our full potential.

The practice of Himalayan Breathwork integrates the five main threads of Yoga—Raja, Tantra, Jñāna, Bhakti, and Karma. It encompasses asanas (physical yoga poses), pranayama, Kriya, naad (yoga of sound), Himalayan kundalini, laya movements, satsang (Q&A), wisdom talks, sacred rituals, sangha (community), seva (selfless service), ayurveda, and conscious living.

Through Himalayan Breathwork, we harness the power of our energy field, mastering its flow and connecting with different energetic frequencies.

Each guided experience or breathwork journey is designed with a specific intention, incorporating Kriya, pranayama, asana, mantra, ecstatic dance, and more, creating a transformative and integrative yogic journey.

Research has shown the remarkable benefits of Kriya Yoga, including the reduction of hypertension, alleviation of anxiety and depression, and overall enhancement of physical and mental well-being. Himalayan Breathwork not only offers these health benefits but is also specifically designed for personal growth, transformation, and a steady awakening into our full potential.

As I share this practice with you, I invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and profound transformation through Himalayan Breathwork. Experience the harmonisation of your mind, body, and spirit as you delve into the realms of lucidity, happiness, tranquillity,
